ram-a-bam-BAM!

- the pope looked like a dead Santa at the funeral.
- what are Black Olympians thinking when the USA National Anthem is playing?
- the most popular model height/weight is 5'10", 120 lbs.

- i always wake up late for work when i sleep with a fan.
- "if its yellow, let it mellow, if its brown, send it down." - water rationing in Meet the Fockers (i have no idea why i remembered this...).
- about movies, isn't it crazy that a lot of them has story lines around the loss of memory? do you get it?
- my bedtime is 11 PM.
- Prince is looking mighty white nowadays. hint, too much makeup.
- what's up with this supa skinny trucks, like UPS? looks like they could rollover too easy.
- speaking of trucks, it seems 1 in 5 vehicles in Oklahoma is a truck.
- i watch Oprah for a first time in awhile Friday. she is really starting to age...

who's the coach?

i've been to every one of my niece's soccer games. they're undefeated.

today was a tough team. the score was 1-0. we won! yay! it wasn't all rosy.

i overheard a parent say to their child, "do you want to come out the game? pay attention and focus!" man, that ruin the game for me. or they would yell "kick the ball, xx-child's name-xx!" that's not cheering them along, such as "go Warriors! Defense!" when i pointed out the difference, it wasn't appreciated.

the child wasn't the same in the game after that. probably doesn't want to play anymore. sports are to be fun, but some parents get it wrong.

let's just say, everyone should not have kids.

dreaming of 50 Cent

this is crazy. i don't have any of his records. have only seen a video or two on TV. i read a verse last night that my enemies have multiplied. here's the dream:

i noticed someone was moving into my apartment building. in life it's only 2 stories, in the dream it was 3. i kept wondering why would 50 Cent (shouldn't it be plural, like cents) be moving in a $400 rent building? i called my sister to explain and she questioned me was i sure, and whatnot.

then, a knock on the door. i hang up the phone, and answer it. 50 walks in and says he wants to buy some cookies. hands me a $100 bill saying he wants two packages. i told him $20 would be enough. he says keep the change.

i wake up.

my sister's best friend lost both her parents. her dad was losing his sight. His wife drove him to the Social Security office to check on benefits. the hard thing, she and her mom worked together. it took her over a year before she was able to return to work.

i lost a high school friend.

my dad lost a high school friend.

we remember...

some thoughts...

* is it me or has Hollywood been feeding us weak celebrities?

* i want to go to the Ballet. last performance of the season is this weekend!
* the Old Navy tunic commerical is "wicked cute".

* wasn't Scary Spice the first to "show the belly"? i'm ... giving you everything...
* college hockey?! come'on NCAA. this is strictly to train for the Olympics, nothing else.

* if i was a wealthy Black (a la Winfrey, Lee, Washington, etc.) i would join together to support Rosa Parks.
* i've never been able to get into police shows (CSI, CSI 2, Law&Order, etc.) boring!
* why do some Black male comics dress like women? that is NOT funny to me.
* Chinese resturants on every corner is played out. they're vying hard for business now.
* it IS very strange.

* are there any Blacks in Westerns, that are not in slave shacks?

* Ong Bak is hot to def! waiting patiently for Kung Fu Hustle.

* i'm very frugal and i like it!
