living for the weekend

aawwww. aren't weekends a beautiful thing? i'm going to Tulsa on Sunday for the NCAA Tennis Championships. pity it was scheduled during the French Open, but heck, that's what VCRs are for...

i stopped by the library to pick up some entertainment for tonight and tomorrow. i also plan to walk through the Paseo Arts Festival that's held every year in my 'hood. love these blokes.

rambling on

- i'm not feeling Lenny's new straight hairstyle after seeing him wear our wooly crown for so many years.
- is R Kelly trying to be the superhero of R&B in that mask?
- wedge shoes are ugly.
- the other day, all my mail at home was junk. in other words, i got a lot of snail spam.
- i absolutely love foreign movies. i would be great to have some of them dubbed, instead of subtitles.
- should an overweight person give weight loss advice?
- sin stocks are alcohol, porn, gambling, etc.
- i watch almost all MTV reality shows. i confess!

rambles

- i get a spider bite every month. they easily heal with aloe vera (from the plant), and shea butter. if spiders like water, my apartment is above the laundry room, could be the reason.
- i lost 2 1/2 lbs last week!
- updated Spiritual Juice
- Nas' rap is so engaging.
- the cars on the new reality show Pimp My Ride with Xzbit are over the top! i hope they don't cause any car jacking.
- on reality shows - there is a local one in my hometown called Ride Along. its about following city employees around each day as they do street work, garbage, or remove animals...
- the beheading was gruesome. honestly, can you have rules in war? and what's this talk that Berg possibly knew the Muslims in America, and refused a plane ticket home? hmmmm...
- its so hot in Phoenix, AZ. can people grow gardens there?
- should i check out Breakin' All The Rules this weekend? i love Jamie's hair.

my own way

i had a list of ramblings to post and lost it! i really need to find my handheld recorder to make this process of my life easier. didn't realize i had been away so long.

anyhoo, as i get older, and wiser, i notice i have start to do things very different from my parents. you would think the life i grew up with, influence me somewhat, but i have changed a lot over the years.
