friday five- hair

1. Is your hair naturally curly, wavy, or straight? Long or short?
naturally curly. my hair is longish.

2. How has your hair changed over your lifetime?
I lyed, fried, and dyed my hair for many years. Five years ago I accepted my hair's texture and allow my hair to grow naturally.

3. How do your normally wear your hair?
i wear my hair in a style known to most as dredlocs. I prefer the word hairlocks, or crown. I cherish them.

4. If you could change your hair this minute, what would it look like?
i wouldn't change my hair type or style at all.

5. Ever had a hair disaster? What happened?
yes. i wore the long fake braids about 10 years ago that made my hair very thin in the top.

Is this a Southern thing? I'll be in Galveston, TX on Tuesday (06/17) for the week. Anyone else going?
