rambling 09/20/04

- WHY is Jadakiss in the music industry?
- Cold Mountain is so violent!
- i adore the LORD God Almightly who art in heaven.
- i went to the State Fair last night to see the gutiarist Edgar Cruz. great fun!
- my last shopping - Loc'd in a Dream print. i want the Violet t-shirt. please, pretty please.

also bought a book and a button at House of Nubian.

i'm back

hadn't gone anywhere really...no, i didn't go on the cruise. i had a change of heart after talking with the travel agent and all the fees. i would have spent 1200 before i boarded the boat, and that didn't include any ports of call, or tips! oh well, maybe during off/off season. the time i was going was actually a discount, but my single rate (after my cabin-mate chickened out), made my costs much higher.

anyhoo, i spent my vacation week checking out local artsy things. it was fab.

i also joined a movie club for one month (after that the rate goes up, and i will cancel). here's the movies i've watched and my rating:

whew! i also watched several movies on Cable (Moulin Rouge made in 1952 gets a 3) and a couple i ordered from Amazon (Alma's Rainbow, Drylongso, Naked Acts). i really need to get more into my knitting, harp, and painting, and stop laying on my butt watching tv. not! UPN season premieres starts today. go Girlfriends! go Tyra! ooh, and Brian White is on Monday night with Boris.
