we rock!

the Olympics was great. seeing all the healthy, physical people work hard to win. i understand the flame. it has touched me.

i like Athletics the best. the rival between the United States and Great Britian men is good to see. the Russian and Jamacia teams want to upset the United States women so bad. i check the history of results over the years and realized America has been very dominate in Track & Field as a country at the Olympics. i asked God about it and opened the Holy Bible to this verse: Psalm 147:11 - The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy. you could hear it from the winners. giving God the glory.

i just bought an Olympic pin. there's a lot of choices this year.

that Greek guy DID NOT win on rings. it was clearly a cheat. i feel so bad for the 2 guys that did MUCH better than him. gymnastics was really marred this time. i feel the scoring was bad on the pummel horse individual medals too.

glad we're moving on to track & field. can't cheat with a photo finish.

vacation #2

i've decided to take a cruise the weekend of Labor Day. i will be sailing out of Long Beach, CA for a 4-day cruise aboard the Monarch of the Seas. first stop is San Diego, then Catalina Island, down to Baja Mexico, and back to port. you're only at sea at night, never too far from shore. cool. getting back on Friday morning will allow me time to stretch before returning to work.

a bit of everything

- i hate horror movies.
- Catwoman was really quite good. i'm not sure why so many people stayed away. wait a minute, yes i do. "livin' in America..."
- why is KW wearing that white Jesus? i guess he hasn't read Jesus has wooly hair. (Dan. 7:9)
- i feel the word love is used loosely, especially on reality shows.
- all of my clocks have different times. one is 5 mins fast, another 10 mins...
- give me strength - i want to rearrange my bedroom.
- yippee! tomorrow, one of my favorite music artists Clara Ponty is releasing her new album Mirror of Truth after 5 years.
- i am hooked on Big Brother 5.

- speaking of award shows, is there an excessive amount of them today? what's with all the flattery?
