i, robot

no i'm really not promoting the movie. in fact, i have no plans to see it. i've been feeling like a robot lately. get up, pray, exercise, shower, study, drive to work, work, lunch, work, get home, pray, eat, garden, surf web, watch tv, talk on the phone, pray, study, go to sleep. *cough* i little housework thrown in there somewhere.

other than prayer and study, it's quite boring. i'm very satisfied with my life, without a care in the world. i could care less about poli-tricks. man-made traditions to stimulate the ecomony. the illusion of human intimacy.


i'll ramble
- i really enjoyed Troy. 2 thumbs up!
- is consuming animals a form of vampiry?
- there are a lot of wack judges on reality shows.
- Taye Diggs is NOT fine!
- hadn't heard anything about Bush's AIDS money.
- most garage sales are junk sales.
-wife and kids is not funny.

movie review

clearly there was political motive behind the movie The Day After Tomorrow. i'm glad too. the talk of global warming and harming the environment needed to be told. there are overtones (usually bad) in other movies, so why not do one to raise awareness of ozone pollution? maybe more people will give up their SUVs. i did (4 years ago).

rating - 2 1/4 stars out of 3 (great special effects)

how sweet it is!

my money is tight and i was planning my meals. i realize i probably wouldn't eat fruit for awhile. i can eat plenty of vegetables out of the garden, but the canteloupe and watermelon are still approx. 45 days out. i figured i would have to do without.

working at a grocer corporate office we receive samples ever now and then. guess what kind of samples we got yesterday? dried fruit!!! not only will i have fruit, but i don't have to worry about it rotting quickly.

these are the things i give God honour for. he gives me what i need, even if i hadn't prayed about it.

good time! - bad sunburn...

i'm back. i don't like to use suntan lotion, and after being in the sun 5 hours (over 2 days), i'm quite crispy. the darkest i've every been too, or should i say golden. you can't see the veins in my face anymore. i'm sure that sounds funny coming from a Black person, but what can i say? i have European and Native American blood running through me.

it was a fun weekend. i shopped, caught a movie, and toured the Tulsa Zoo. spent the night in an overpriced suite. i was given a free breakfast buffet that was great!

now what should i do for vacation?
