ramblings

* i'm learning Spanish by using Pimsleur cassettes in the morning.
* why would anyone want a big passenger van? they're too big AND ugly. i still wonder why my parents bought one.
* about cars - why are gas prices so high? GW get in there and pump some oil.
* about oil - only one solider to go AWOL?
* i've been bit by bugs 3 times in 2 weeks. i think the soap Dudu Osun is the reason. maybe the bugs like camwood.
* believe it or not, i share all my shopping secrets.
* go Tiger! we want a 5 peat. be the first!
* i need to do my taxes.
* didn't watch/listen to the news yesterday. make a choice - be uninformed or depressed.

my brotha

after 5 years, my brother finally came to visit. we talk on the phone ever now and then, but its not the same as a face to face. i missed him. he was very relaxed and that was a comfort because sometimes he stresses to much.

he came in tinkering around on my computer (which he built) and everything is a ok.

watched Seabiscuit last night. a feel good movie. this small horse considered a runt, out ran all the other best horses during his time. his record hasn't been beat yet.

new day, new month

the weeks go so fast. i really need to find my hand recorder to capture thoughts that i have throughout the day. there are several but i can't remember them when i sit down in the evening.

* let's see - i'm totally against gay marriage. all i have to say is "yuck!" i have distanced myself from gays. i don't want to be their friend. i consider it the dark side.

* i was hit from behind Friday by an elderly woman. she hit me twice while i was waiting to turn. i got out and said something and she said "you rowed back into me". after she got out and saw it wasn't any damage, she apologized. i was so shocked that she had lied to begin with! i told her to be careful and left.

* i can't stand the fact that the moneychangers are back up in the temple, calling it passion.

* i haven't bought any clothes in 3 weeks! hard to believe...

* its unfornate that the LOTR trilogy is not appealing to me or several people that i know. can't please everyone.
