staying fit

movie reviews

- i did not think The Cat In The Hat is a kid movie. i got free passes from work and went with my two nieces. i am so glad i didn't pay to see it. there was a reference of "dirty ho" and the car's old name was S.H.I.T. a bit much, don't you think?

- i checked out Shattered Glass while in Houston. i was well acted by the lead actor. he deserves an Oscar (for what its worth).

flashback

in the early hours when i workout, i watch TCM. i love seeing the massive houses and hearing dialogue without excessive cussing.

today i surfed over to their website. ooh, i want to see this poster book. i going to request my library order it.

Yesterday was Sandwich Day! What's your favorite?

baba ghanoush (roasted eggplant with tahini), with fresh ground black pepper and parsley. i usually top it with ajvar (vegetable dip from Bulgaria - roasted red peppers, garlic, sunflower seeds, etc.), served on a chapati (unleavened bread made with coconut milk). yummy!
