Dallas or bust!
i will be making a trek to Dallas to pick up items held in storage for 6 years. i've been making payments that long and hadn't been there in 4 years so i will be creeped out to see some of the old things i owned. after today i will be offline until Sunday night.
nice items to sell on eBay. i'll let you know when.

dang, i had so many thoughts of what i wanted to talk about...i've forgotten them before i could write them down. i offer you the chance to quiz me. what is it about me you want to know? probably nothing, huh?  really, i'm a fun loving person who has opinions that are not widely shared. i know that. i live with it. i'm sure others live with it to.

3 - Hindus bombed by muslims.
hmmm, what should be do? should be leave these people be, and let them continue to bomb and kill all people that don't believe what they do? or should we fight back and protect ourselves, and our beliefs? not necessarily Christian, Hindu, or Jewish. protect FREEDOM (what little we have left...)

shopaholic to the max!
that's how i felt when the register rang up my many savings at Academy yesterday. i'm almost embarrassed to say how much i bought. let's just say, i will be wearing denim capris into the winter season. i scooped up every style in four colors for as little as $4.88 each! i'm thinking opague stockings with short boots, and big cotton sweaters. i love the heat. i can't believe i'm already through shopping for the cold.
that's it. i'm hibernating today. no malls for me. oh no. i still have the Internet. Beware of eeeeeBBBBBaaayyyyyy!

on the road again
my job has awarded every employee another week of vacation.  with all the money woes experienced by Amtrak now that most people have cars, if you don't travel by train this year, it may not exist, sooooo i will be traveling to the Grand Canyon by train at the end of next month. i have a lot of camping gear, and ordered up my hiking boots from Campmor this weekend.
i would really like to hike down the canyon. being realistic, i'll probably only hike the rim.

the definitions for gay makes this more of a joke. its not funny though… 
i can’t even see why it was considered. don’t get me wrong, i’m not homophobic. i’m not scared. i’m not misinformed. i feel gays are the dark side, evil, and totally against the laws of God (which mankind disregards more and more each day). there’s nothing and no one who can change my opinion. i don’t dislike gays, i just don’t care to get to know them, or understand them. they can do their thing. i don’t want any part of it, in this life or the next.

the new movie Gigli came in 8th on the charts with a meager 3.8 million sales.  so, what is being said? Ben you are not attractive dating a Latino. this definitely kept the white women away. i know they are not fond of her. Jennifer you are not as cute dating that white boy. Latino men probably put up with P. Diddy because he is a minority, but this white cat? seriously. its loud and clear. hopefully the media will give us a break now...

i am watching Wonders of the African World with Henry Louis Gates, Jr. and it is very informative. my observation of the first 30 minutes is that every Black American should see this film. run, walk, or drive to find this film to see and understand why we are here (Deut. 28:68), and why Africa has been cursed and suffers (Deut. 24:7).
i going to watch the rest of it...

weekend plans
there's a lot going on this weekend around town. the ReggaeFest is only 2 miles from my home. this weekend is also the tax-free weekend to buy school clothes (or adult clothes if you don't have kids - like me). this is something the state of Oklahoma had to do to compete with Texas, which had several specials to lure shoppers there with all the outlet shopping.
i plan to hibernate for the most part. tithes and rent has the purse strings tight. i'm on a foreign movie kick and have 3 movies to watch (courtesy of the library). i'll be online too...
