Why? both. technology is challenging our way of life in major ways, eliminating jobs and making it difficult to keep people employed. i guess as the population grows, we will need to find more ways to make a living, or take it easy and live off the land with few extras.

am i being stalked?
this guy at my job recently got divorced. for some reason he is acting differently toward me. he came on to me, which i let him know immediately that i wasn't interested - in a friendly way. i live in an area of our city that is very artsy. a lot of artists, all the poetry clubs, and eclectic shops. one day i ran into him at a festival. nothing uncommon. there were a lot of people there, and it is well known. one day at work he tells me he knows where i live. that he sees my car parked on the street, and even quotes the tag #.  well, he's a computer guy so maybe he has a good memory?!?!
yesterday i was on my way to the library, and guess you drives down my street? yep, him. what timing. get this. he is with a women and driving her car. he doesn't have a car that i know of; he drives a company car. she gave me a shocked looked that he would stop and talk to me. i did not want this woman to know where i live or what car i drive. grrr. i'm so mad at him.
i am going to watch this guy closely. he starting to get to me.

a look at current events
* i don't think Kobe is guilty of rape, but he is guilty making dumb decisions. enough said.
* i take a peek at music videos every now and then, and noticed all the Latino and white girls used in the hip-hop flicks over the past year. well, i've also noticed the change that is being made recently. if you check out Frontin' by Pharrell you will see the reaction he makes when a Black girl enters the party. Let's us know they only did it because the record company wanted them to, and that they were only frontin'. 
* pray for our troops! i prayed recently and the next day Sadaam's sons were killed. i'm serious! the war is not over. the war won't be over as long as this world exists...

it's hectic
my assignments at work keeps me offline, so i hadn't been in the spot (or checked any blogs), plus i wasted water on my keyboard at home. i picked up a new one at Office Depot and i was so surprised with the different types available. i must be in the dark ages because even keyboards and computer mouses are wireless now. i picked up the $12 keyboard and came on home.  it's working just fine.
i have a foreign movies that's due back to the library; going to watch it. check ya later...

whacha gonna do, when they come for you? BAD BOYS!!!
Yea! Bad Boys II came in #1 this week at 46.7 millon estimate. That's 3rd so far this summer behind Bruce Almighty and The Matrix Reloaded. Terminator who?  i'm only saying that because Rotten Tomatoes gave Bad Boys a poor rating and the other movie was held as THE BEST when i thought it was just ok.
Will and Martin rock! (although that one scene with the young kid at the door could be deleted).

how dare you?
this is too much! most Blacks has suffered some sort of discrimination in their life. i have quite frequently of late and it is really getting to me. i usually blow them off as ignorant. how should i respond when a Latino does it to a Black?
in the checkout line of the video store my cashier walked off when i got to the front of the line. i had to wait until the 2nd cashier finished her line. she apologized for the wait and helped me. then my cashier returned to help the person behind me! wth? maybe J-Lo, Salma Hayek, and the Shakira crap has gone to her head. i dunno. really pissed me off, but i kept my cool.
it was hard.

i find that i focus a lot on health, spiritual things, along with music and my poetry. i've been reluctant to put some things on my site. when since i'm a member of the brutally honest webring i should speak my mind. so, you have been forewarned. i won't be malice, however, i will share my thoughts and as of late, i'm notin agreement with most things happening in the world.

absence makes the heart grow fonder?
i know...i have been ghost much too long. same ole, same ole going on in my life. praising God, exercise, job with new bosses, gardening, playing my harp, shopping!!!, home chores, boob tube, etc.,,, i'm online a couple hours sometimes but hadn't posted here because i didn't want to bore you. i do plan to update my site's layout soon. we'll see. i've been up since 7 AM and am ready for a nap. was off yesterday and other than doing the radio show, i lounge around the home all day. it has been hot! and so i try to avoid the heat from 10 AM until 4 PM.
oh well, hope to get on more soon. need to get by some other blogger sites. peace!
