i did it! 
made goal by June 1 - lost 75 lbs!!! where's the bikini? LOL! 
i ordered a digital camera from HSN, so i will post pictures as soon as it arrives.
i totally advise to buy a treadmill for the convenience to workout at home. And videos tapes. these are the sole reason I dropped 75 pounds in 5 months. getting tired of eBay 
a seller forgot to ship a CD to me, even after i paid the same day the auction ended. i'm really getting fed up with the whole thing. shipping costs are high. but i've found some good deals.
ok, maybe i'll quit after i win this auction for these Gotex boots. shhh, i'm going to bid at the last minute....

i was walking to my apartment with a basket of clean laundry. looking fly in my black Levi shorts and new KSwiss sneakers.

foreign movies
i absolutely love foreign movies. even with the subtitles, i fully enjoy them. i usually follow a particular director and watch a lot of their films. i plan to see some of Michelangelo Antonioni's films next.
Raise the Red Latern by director Zhang Yimou is my favorite to date.

tornados R us
wow! i had tornados a few miles south of me one day, and a couple of miles north of me 2 days later. for those that lose family or property, i always think of Job and what's happening in that person's life...
some of the same people who lost a house or business in the biggest tornado ever recorded that we had in May 1999 lost it again this year. that's interesting. i know of someone who lost some of their things that are planning to cheat the insurance company. karma, karma, karma. also, to have another tornado 2 days later on the other side of town...could they have been talking bad about the group who had already been hit twice? something to learn in all this...

interesting idea
so if they put labels on fast food with the calories and fat content, will it reduce the level of obesity in America? the same guy who is responsible for having the warning labels added to cigarettes, and ads removed from TV is pulling to have the information on burgers and fries.
we'll see. both my parents stop smoking around the time of the cigarette change...

The Media Edition
1. TV or radio? TV - visual is very powerful
2. On the radio: talk or music station? music, mostly
3. Actual books or books-on-tape (or e-books)? audio books are really nice.
4. Actual newspaper, or web version? i like the actual paper
5. Wall Street Journal or National Enquirer? hmmm, i haven't read a National Enquirer in a while, but would instead of the WSJ
6. TV news...news channel such as CNN, or your local broadcast news? CNN - give me a world view
7. A movie you've been looking forward to seeing gets bad reviews all around. See it anyway, or pass? see it anyway - i seldom accept the opinions of others, although there is one critic that seems to agree completely with me
8. See movies when they first come out, or wait a few weeks for the lines at the theater to get shorter? depends on the movie - i have gone to pictures the first weekend to show support, and then there are those that i wait to check out of the library
9. TV: cable, satellite dish, or just plain old antenna? cable
10. Thought-provoking question of the week: If you had to choose only one form of media to come into your home, which would you choose...print (newspapers, magazines) or electronic (TV, internet)? Why? Internet - it has everything I need from the others listed, including their business sites.
